  1. A great shot showing old and modern architecture, Vicki. Here in Brisbane we also have those quite startling contrasts between towering reflective skyscrapers and old stone churches tucked in between them. Every time I see these scenes I have to marvel at the mix.

    1. To be honest Otto, I prefer less tight, but that’s the only shot I could get out of the 55-210 Sony lens from the other side of the road. I really miss my old 18-200mm lens. It was (for me) the best ‘walkabout’ lens – it captured close-ups as well as quite good bird shots as well as land or cityscapes.
