I can well imagine, Bulldog.
To be honest, it’s been pretty rare for me to capture a bird reflection (partly because I’m often in the wrong position on a walking path to take advantage of any, and also because the water surfaces around here are rarely smooth enough to catch a decent reflection).
Love reflections too!

I love reflections and often miss a bird photo by waiting for the water to still for the reflection and the bird leaves before the time…
